Enfield residents – health and wellbeing support this winter
If you are a Newlon resident living in Enfield there are a wide range of local services you can access to support wellbeing and mental health all year round and during the winter months.
These include:

This includes information on services and activities for people in all age groups, many of which are free or no cost.
These range from free activities for older people delivered in partnership with Age UK to details of a wide range of social groups and activities for people who could find themselves lonely or socially isolated.
You can also find advice on staying warm this winter, remaining healthy, and cost of living support.
The Enfield Wellbeing Network works in partnership with the mental health charity Mind to offer a wide range of resources for people concerned about their mental health or that of family members. You can find further information at – https://www.mindeb.org.uk/services-for-individuals/.
Physical wellbeing – active Enfield
Active Enfield offers a range of fun and engaging sports and health activities throughout the year for Young People (ages 5-18), Adults and Over 50s. Sporting and physical activity courses are both affordable and accessible; delivered across venues and spaces as diverse as schools, community centres, leisure centres and parks. All sessions are coached by qualified instructors with all necessary qualifications and checks.
Regular activities include free waking groups where you can meet new people as well as being physically active.
