Description
Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.
We have an opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Special Project Team and oversee the cost and contract management for major latent defects and cladding/fire safety remediation projects. This role requires meticulous budget oversight, a strong understanding of construction contracts and the ability to ensure value for money while maintaining compliance with statutory and safety standards.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a Quantity Surveying RICS/CIOB accredited course, or with equivalent experience, you will hold RICS or CIOB membership or be working towards chartered status. Having worked in a similar lead/senior role, you will have extensive surveying experience and demonstrable ability in writing in depth inspection reports, preparing schedules of works and of project and programme management.
In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits and a flexi scheme. You’ll also be working out of purpose-built offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project, and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.
