Homes and Lettings Administrator

Description

Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our successful Lettings team.

Your main duties will include responsibility for the administration element of the letting of Newlon’s empty properties, the beginning and ending of tenancies and the probationary process of establishing new customers in their homes.

With proven administration experience in a customer service delivery role, you will have first class communication skills, demonstrable empathy with the needs of residents and a genuine commitment to resolving tenancy issues. A basic understanding of the principles of housing, based on your experience, is also required, along with good IT skills.

Flexibility is essential as you will be expected to work some early mornings, evenings and weekends in order to meet customer demand.

In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits and a flexi scheme.  We currently offer the opportunity to work up to 3 days at home (depending on the role).  You’ll also be working out of purpose-built offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project, and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.

To apply, please email your CV and supporting statement to recruit@newlon.org.uk by the closing date.
