As Building Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all fire and building safety duties in our high rise and/or higher risk residential buildings are effectively and robustly carried out. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will develop plans for the delivery of fire safety work and services in high risk buildings and ensure these buildings are managed and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the Building Safety Act.

You will also need substantial and up to date knowledge of the current housing related legislation of compliance work streams and demonstrable experience of managing a compliance or health and safety related service for residential buildings.

You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the natural ability to network and build effective relationships within the departmental team(s) and with key stakeholders across the organisation. In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits and a flexi scheme.  You’ll also be working out of purpose-built offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project, and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.
