Deadline to register to vote for Mayor of London fast approaching

You can vote on 5th May 2016 for the Mayor of London and London Assembly if you:

  • are registered to vote by 18th April 2016
  • live in London
  • will be at least 18 years old on the day of the elections
  • are a British citizen, a European Union citizen or a Commonwealth citizen, or who has leave to remain in the UK

You can register to vote online in just a few minutes using a simple form. You’ll need to provide your National Insurance number, your date of birth and your address.

Alternatively contact your local Electoral Registration Office.

If you’re not yet registered to vote, you should register as soon as possible. The deadline for registering is 18th April 2016.

If your local registration office hasn’t received your application by then, you won’t be able to vote.
