Parking

  • What do I do if I want to contest a parking fine?

If you have received a parking fine you must contest this with the company from whom you received it from. Newlon are not responsible for levying any fines. Parking enforcement on our developments is currently managed by PCM.

  • Where can I find out information about parking near my home?

Parking is not available at all of our developments and if there is parking it may not be available for everyone. We can inform you of the parking arrangements where you live or any planned changes. Please contact our Service Centre or email customerservice@newlon.org.uk.

  • How can I get parking permits?

If your property is based where PCM manage the parking you will need to go directly to them in order to get parking permits.

If Newlon manage the parking in your area we are able to issue you a permit if you are eligible. Certain schemes do not have any parking available but we may be able to issue temporary permits for moving or large deliveries. To find out more please contact our Service Centre or email customerservice@newlon.org.uk.

  • How can I update details of my vehicle for my parking permit?

If your property is based where PCM manage the parking you will need to go directly to them in order to update your vehicle details. If Newlon manage the parking in your area you will need to provide us with your log book in order for us to change the details on your permit. Please contact our Service Centre or email customerservice@newlon.org.uk.

  • Can I arrange temporary parking for contractors undertaking works?

For schemes where PCM manage parking we may be able to arrange a dispensation for contractors who will be carrying out works at your property. This can either be Newlon contractors or contractors hired by you. We must be informed in advance what the contractors are attending for, who they are, and their car registration number, make and model. We will also need to be told how long they will be there for.

There is no set time limit for contractors to have a permit as this will be decided on a case by case basis. We are unable to arrange parking at schemes where PCM do not manage the parking. For more information please contact our Service Centre or email customerservice@newlon.org.uk.

  • What do I do if there is an abandoned vehicle or illegal parking?

If you discover an abandoned vehicle then please make a note of the following:

    • The exact location of the vehicle, including the name of the road and nearest property.
    • The make, model and colour of the vehicle.
    • The vehicle’s registration number.
    • Whether it is damaged in any way.
    • Whether it is in a hazardous place.

If the car is on a highway then please contact your local council who have the authority to move the vehicle.

You should then contact our Service Centre or email customerservice@newlon.org.uk and provide them with the above details so we can arrange appropriate action.
