Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London. And right now, we’re looking for a Finance Apprentice.

You will take responsibility for processing and allocating debtor cash receipts and assisting in processing supplier payments and rent transactions for Newlon group companies. As a Finance Apprentice you will be expected to assist in the processing of purchase invoices for Newlon.

The Finance Apprentice will support the team in some of the following areas:

  • Assisting in processing supplier payments
  • Assisting in processing payments for rent accounts
  • All month end reconciliation with other creditor accounts on a regular basis
  • Responsible for opening Finance Team post and onward distribution
  • Assisting in the administration and maintenance of the procurement system, IPOS
  • Responsible for the allocation of non-rent sales cash
