Cannon Road development wins award

Rivers Apartments, part of the Cannon Road development in Tottenham, has won Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development at the regional final of the 2016 Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards.

We were also a finalist for Best Educational Building for Brook House School, part of the same development. The Cannon Road scheme as a whole also made the shortlist.

Finalists were made up of London-based and national construction industry firms and their partners.

The ceremony was held at the Guildhall on Friday, 13th June.

Cannon Road sits on the site of a derelict former rubber factory on Tottenham High Road, containing 222 homes in a mix of tenures. It has 22 storey tower entirely dedicated to home ownership, low rise social and Intermediate Rent homes, and a new primary school.
