Newlon Fusion wins top sports award

On 22nd June Newlon Fusion, our community and regeneration arm, won Sports Organisation of the Year at the 2015 Sport Islington Awards.

This was for the work done by the Barnsbury Improved Lifestyle Initiative (BILI), which is funded by Newlon Fusion.

BILI is a successful wellbeing programme that runs on the Barnsbury Estate in Islington. It is a health and lifestyle programme geared at helping local people keep fit, eat healthily and feel confident about themselves, combining exercise classes and a Forum to discuss and According toshare ideas.

Since the programme started in November 2013 it has welcomed people from a wide variety of backgrounds and nationalities, and has demonstrated itself to be a important part of the local community.
