To Market

3rd Jun 2014

Do you want to start your own food or crafts market stall but don’t know how? Do you want some practice running a stall and testing your ideas?

Newlon Fusion, our community regeneration partner, can help. Their “To Market” programme, run in partnership with and hosted by Spitalfields City Farm, will give you advice on how to run a stall and choose an appropriate street market in London. You will find out how to make and sell home made foods such as chilli oils, pesto, jams and cordials, and learn about upcycling furniture and fashion.

You will also receive the following:

  • One-to-one support
  • Help with certification such as hygiene certificates
  • Use of a registered kitchen to prepare food for sale
  • Support with registering as a business
  • Funding towards stall rental costs

Workshops start on Friday, 6th June and run every Friday until 25th July.

All those taking part in the workshops get a FREE STALL on Sundays at the Spitalfields City Farm Summer Market, starting Sunday 8th June and every Sunday after that until September.
