Moving Home
As a Newlon resident there are several options available to you if you want to move to another Newlon property. These include Home Swapper, HomeBuy and Mutual Exchange and our own transfer scheme.
Newlon's transfer scheme
We carry out a small number of transfers each year. If you are having particular problems with your existing home or you are facing harassment or domestic violence you may be eligible for a transfer to another Newlon property. Find out more about how to transfer.
Mutual Exchange
To find out who wants to swap their home read our up to date Mutual Exchange listings in the Newsletter section of this website. To advertise your home for an exchange please call Sue Jones on 020 7613 7486 or email her at sue.jones@newlon.org.uk. This is mainly for Newlon residents but sometimes other housing association residents from other organisations use the Mutual Exchange in hope for a swap!
Home Swapper
Home Swapper is the largest organisation for Social Housing residents wishing to move home. Thousands of people join every month to move locally or right across the UK.
To join simply register at www.HomeSwapper.co.uk - we have partnered with Home Swapper so this service is free for Newlon residents to use!
Once registered, Home Swapper will make daily checks for new swaps and you can log on at anytime to view them. Home Swapper can also send you 'match alerts' to ensure that you don't miss out on your ideal home. If you are interested in a match, contact the other resident and arrange to view each other's properties. If you want to swap contact your Tenancy Management Officer (numbers on our Contact page).
