Queensland Road E.ON meter changes needed

If you are a Queensland Road resident, please take a moment to read the following information from E.ON regarding changes needed to your heat pre-payment meter.

Dear Customer

We need to change your Heat prepayment meter
We manage your prepayment meter through a company called Switch2 but soon we won’t be using them. This means we’ll need to set up your E.ON Heat Pay As You Go (PAYG) meter.

What does this mean?
We’ll need to change your current meter. Once we’ve done this, you’ll need to top up your PAYG meter with us direct. We’ve included a leaflet to give you some more information about E.ON Heat PAYG.

Ways to top up

  • Over the phone by debit or credit card on our 24-hour automated payment line on 0800 183 1900.
  • Through your online account at eonenergy.com/heat

Keeping your supply on
If you run out of credit and can’t top up, you can activate emergency credit to keep you going between top ups. Also, your meter won’t disconnect if you run out of credit during the friendly hours period. These are through the night, over the weekend, or on bank holidays. Giving you more time to top up if needed.
