Lettings and Allocations Officer
Do you pride yourself on your flexible approach and exceptional customer service skills? Would you like to join an award-winning business at a particularly exciting time in its history, as it invests in providing great services for its residents by setting up innovative new teams and ways of working? Then make the move to Newlon Housing Trust.
We’re a fast-growing and successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in north and east London. And right now, we’re looking for a Lettings & Allocations Officer to join us.
Part of the team responsible for ensuring the quick turnaround of Newlon’s empty properties, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers. Your challenge? To ensure the satisfactory beginning, ending and changing of tenancies and that new customers are happy in their homes and using them properly. The nature of the role means you’ll also need to work some early mornings, evenings and possibly some hours on a Saturday as part of marketing, lettings or starter visits.
To succeed, you must be customer-focused and able to work well across teams. The ability to take responsibility for delivering results is important too, as is a willingness to build the values, standards and objectives of our programme of service change and improvement, Newlon Gold, into your everyday activities and behaviour.
In return, you can expect 27 days holiday, a non-contributory pension, excellent benefits and flexi time. You’ll also be working out of purpose-built new offices that form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration project, and are situated just two minutes’ walk from the major transport interchange at Tottenham Hale.
Closing date: Tuesday 20th April 11:59pm
Assessments: Between Monday 26th April – Thursday 29th April
Interviews: Friday 7th May
