Eco Family final assessment
A look back over the project ...
The last few months has seen a change in my family’s habits for the better. We have really enjoyed taking on the challenges.
They were interesting to get involved in and were not difficult as such, but trying to get used to doing something you weren’t used to doing. It has been a real eye opener, learning how better to get more out of life in every day things we do. We have saved money, learnt to appreciate what we have and how to get more out of reusing food, materials and other useful stuff.
It has brought the family closer. The girls have made use of the challenges through educational use. They are eager to learn more and have naturally adjusted to making those small changes for big worthwhile causes. We now as a family would like to take the challenges further. We have spoken to family and friends about our experiences of the challenges, we are giving useful tips on better living through an eco-friendly perspective and they are taking interest too which is again great to know that we are spreading the word or getting others on board.
I am so glad I have stayed on the project because it’s given me a sense of achievement and I know that the project should be ongoing to help other families such as mine, thank you.
