Getting a transfer

We carry out a very small number of transfers a year.

A transfer typically takes place when a resident is facing harassment or domestic violence, or if they have to move for medical reasons.

A transfer could also take place if there is a problem with the property you live in – if it is too small, too large, or needs major repair work.

If none of the above applies to you, your chances of a transfer may be small and we would advise you to look at other ways of moving to another property.

You should remember that transfers are not the only option.  Your tenancy management officer can also give you details of the other options.
