Matched saving scheme
Islington Residents: If you open a savings account with Islington and City Credit Union and you save no less than £5 per week or at least £20 per month for three consecutive months, Newlon will credit your account with £60. If your children open a Young Savers Account with the Credit Union, Newlon will give them £10 for their account as long as they save no less than £2.50 per week or £10 per month for three consecutive months.
Tower Hamlets and Hackney Residents: If you open a savings account with London Community Credit Union and you save no less than £5 per month for six consecutive months, Newlon will put £50 into your Credit Union account. If your children open a Young Savers Account with the Credit Union for over a year, Newlon will credit that account with £10.

Fair Finance
Newlon have linked with Fair Finance, a local not for profit organisation, to help you with your finances and to help prevent possible problems with debt and arrears. Through this partnership you can receive debt counselling and one to one money advice absolutely FREE!

Consumer Credit Counselling Service: Full debt help service. Tel: 0800 138 1111. Opening times: Monday - Friday 8am-8pm.
National Debtline: Full debt help service. Tel: 0808 808 4000. Opening times: Monday - Friday 9am-9pm, Sat 9.30am-1pm.
Citizens Advice Bureau: Full debt and consumer advice service with many having specialist caseworkers to deal with any type of debt including repossessions and negotaition with creditors. Opening times: different for each bureau.
Community Legal Advice: Tel: 0845 345 4345 (or text 'legalaid' and name to 80010 to get a call back). Opening times: Monday - Friday 9am-6:30pm, Sat 9am-12:30pm.
Local agencies: There may be a local debt help agency in your area, if so check it is non-profit or a charity, before signing up. Try entering your postcode into Money Advice Map to find free independent financial advice centres in your area.
