Celebrating 35 years of providing homes & servicesNewlon Housing Trust

What we're doing

Over the past three years Newlon has built over 1000 new affordable homes in an area stretching from Highbury in the east to Caledonian Road in the west, as the lead housing association in one of the UK’s largest and most high profile development projects.

The first affordable housing was completed in autumn 2005 at Hornsey Street and the majority of developments are now complete except for some units at Highbury, which should be completed in 2008, and a proposed development of 320 affordable homes on Queensland Road.

This landmark regeneration scheme has completely transformed the area around the Emirates stadium by regenerating a large area of 'brownfield' land. As well as new housing new health centres, shops and many other community facilities are being developed.

Newlon also plays a pivotal role in the Arsenal Regeneration Team - a partnership between ourselves, London Borough of Islington and Arsenal FC to support the growth of local business and community initiatives.
