Celebrating 35 years of providing homes & servicesNewlon Housing Trust

Highbury Square

The Highbury Square is currently under construction and is being built on the site of the original Arsenal stadium.

The stadium’s magnificent east and west stands, which were built in the early 1900s, will be retained and converted, and the existing pitch area will be transformed into a memorial garden.  Then, to replace the existing north and south stands, two stunning new blocks will be created.

In total, the development will see the creation of around 700 new homes, 49 of which will be provided by Newlon.  In addition, Newlon is creating six homes for disabled residents, which will be transferred to John Grooms Housing Association.

The development is being designed by world renowned architects Allies and Morrison.
