We are proud to announce that we have won the Housing Corporation's Gold Award for ‘Delivering joined-up development’ for the Arsenal Regeneration Programme.
The award was presented at a special ceremony on 13th May, by Housing Minister, Caroline Flint.
The Housing Corporation's Gold Award scheme has been in operation for three years and is firmly established as the most coveted and valued annual housing award in England.
The award is in recognition for our work in partnership with London Borough of Islington and Arsenal FC, as well as many other partners in building a new community of affordable housing around the Emirates Stadium.
The Arsenal Regeneration Programme is one of the largest projects of its kind in Europe.
Sir Duncan Michael, Chairman of the judging panel said, “Congratulations to Newlon Housing Trust for securing this prestigious national housing award for delivering joined-up development.
Newlon’s work on a wide range of innovative community projects has helped to create a 21st century neighbourhood around Arsenal Football Club’s Emirates Stadium and has made them a worthy Gold Award winner.”
