At last night's prestigious 'Regeneration & Renewal Awards' Newlon was proud to be announced as the winner of the Housing Association of the Year category.
Beating off competition from seven other short-listed Housing Associations the judges were impressed by Newlon’s work in the Arsenal Regeneration Programme where more than 1,000 new affordable homes have been completed since Autumn 2005. They also recognised the range of the Trust's work to support residents and the regeneration of communities across north and east London.
Chief Executive Mike Hinch commented; ‘I am really proud that our achievements in the last year have been recognised in this way. We have been working really hard to help meet the demand for new affordable housing in north and east London. This is a testament to the hard work of all our staff and the many partners that we work with to provide people with decent homes and help support them to live successful lives.’
