Friday 20th July saw the opening of Tower Mews, a landmark new development of affordable homes in the centre of Walthamstow. Cllr Marie Pye, Waltham Forest's Lead Member for Housing and Community Safety opened the building at a ceremony also attended by local MP Neil Gerrard.
Standing right next to Walthamstow Central bus and underground stations, Tower Mews provides 58 homes for local council nominees, Key Workers at below market rate rents or for Shared Ownership.
