Getting more involved

At Newlon we want you to help us get things right. To do this we offer a range of options for you to become involved, from the very simple, such as completing surveys, to the more committed such as regularly attending a group or forum. Each needs different amounts of commitment but by becoming involved, in what ever way you can, you will be helping to improve our services.

Your ideas

If you think that there are other ways that we could better involve you in improving our services, we would be very happy to hear them. We need your views on all aspects of our work and this is also one of them.

Barnsbury Estate

Barnsbury Estate has many of its services co-ordinated by Barnsbury Estate Local Management Office or BELMO. This is a Tenant Managed Organisation that controls estate services such as repairs, maintenance, and gardening amongst others. As a Tenant Managed Organisation it needs residents to do just that - manage its services and oversee the people it employs, such as BELMO co-ordinator and service contractors.

Community Regeneration

Newlon has a team called Newlon Fusion which runs community projects, youth programs and provides training courses to make the most of your skills. Our Commitment

We want residents' needs to be the driving factor in our organisation and we want our services to be as good as they possibly can be.

We need your help to do this and will support your involvement in many ways: by providing freepost envelopes for your replies, paying for your expenses when attending meetings and supporting your Residents' Associations with funds, training and practical help.

We also want to ensure that all our residents have equal opportunities to be involved. We can supply information in other formats such as large print or Braille, or in other languages when needed.
