Eluna Apartments

Eluna Apartments is a luxury, low rise apartment developed by George Wimpy in Wapping East London – on a site that was believed to be an important Roman port and, more recently, Babe Ruth’s sports bar.

A total of 85 new homes have been built, and Newlon is responsible for 21.  The London Borough of Tower Hamlets will nominate tenants for 17 of these.  The remaining four will be available for Shared Ownership.

The project is a little unusual in that it is completely grant free.  The entire development cost of £1.55 million has been raised through private finance.  Newlon’s involvement reflects our commitment to providing good quality affordable housing.
