Newlon Fusion – Supporting individuals, serving communities
Newlon Fusion is the award-winning community regeneration arm of Newlon Housing Group. Newlon Fusion aims to create sustainable and economically strong communities and currently delivers regeneration programmes in partnership with local authorities and community groups in the boroughs of Islington, Hackney, Haringey and Tower Hamlets.
The aims:
- To create sustainable and economically strong communities.
- Deliver regeneration programmes, in partnership with local authorities and community groups. These include community activities, training and employment opportunities.
The objectives:
- To enhance the employment prospects and skills of residents and other local people, particularly the young and those at a disadvantage, and promote equality of opportunity.
- To encourage employment opportunities for residents and other people through support for and work with local community based businesses/organisations.
- To promote activities that celebrate and improve community spaces both in visual terms and through innovative usage.
- To tackle crime and improve community safety.
- To enhance the quality of life; health; and capacity to contribute to regeneration; of residents and other local people, including the promotion of cultural and sports opportunities.

Jeremy Hopgood
