Inspection
We recently had a Short Notice Inspection carried out by the Audit Commission to assess how well we provide you with services. This is part of a series of regular inspections carried out on behalf of the Tenant Services Authority, who regulate the performance of social housing providers.
Overall, the inspectors' report is positive and we are really pleased that they found more strengths than weaknesses in the inspected services.

Our Action Plan
Following the inspection we have been working to put our residents ideas into action to help improve services. To find out more about what we have done please view our Inspection update, and our detailed Action Plan.
We welcome feedback and ideas on how to improve services and if you have any suggestions or comments please contact Tom O'Malley on 020 7613 8099, or you can e-mail him at: tom.omalley@newlon.org.uk.
Prospects for Improvement
The Short Notice Inspection Report also includes the Audit Commission's assessment of our 'prospects for improvement'. We are pleased to say that they have judged these as 'promising'. This means that they believe that we are well placed to continue to provide improved services to you. In addition the judgement reflects their opinion that we have both the people and the systems to keep getting better.
The Audit Commission make three judgements when deciding on 'prospects for improvement'. These are based on assessing our overall track record, how we manage performance and our capacity to improve. They assessed our prospects in each of these areas as follows:
* Track record - Balance of strengths and weaknesses.
* Managing performance - Strengths outweigh weaknesses.
* Capacity - Area of strength, this is the Audit Commission's top rating and includes their assessment of our staff.
