Regulation
On 1st December 2008 the Housing Corporation merged with English Partnerships and split into two brand new organisations - the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and the Tenant Services Authority (TSA).
The Homes and Communities Agency are the national housing and regeneration agency for England. For any future new developments we will apply to the HCA for part of the funding. The Tenant Services Authority are the champions for residents. They work to ensure that local authorities and Housing Associations, like ourselves, are effectively managed and regulated and that we deliver a consistently high level of services to our residents. Future inspections of our services will still be carried out by the Audit Commission on behalf of the TSA.
We recently had a Short Notice Inspection carried out by the Audit Commission, as part of a series of regular inspections carried out on behalf of the Tenant Services Authority.
Overall, the inspectors' report is positive and we are really pleased that they found more strengths than weaknesses in the inspected services.
