Outward offers apprenticeships to young residents

28th Mar 2014

Outward, Newlon’s care and support subsidiary, will present apprenticeship programme for Newlon residents between the ages 16-25 at a jobs fair in Tottenham on 2nd April. The jobs fair will be held at The Engine Room, Vickers Court, Hale Village, London, N17 9FE at 10.30 am – 3.30pm so do come along if you are interested in finding about work opportunities or if you are a young resident wanting to find out more about the apprenticeship programme.

If you are over 25 but are really keen, it is still worth applying as Outward may make exceptions for Newlon residents over 25 who display real enthusiasm and talent.  Experts will be at the jobs fair to give you help and advice.

This 12 month paid training course will help prepare young people for employment within Outward meaning that if a vacancy were to arrive, this apprenticeship could lead to a permanent role. Aside from this, your time with Outward will put you in a strong position when applying for other roles in the charity industry.

The programme has been running since 2013 and a significant percentage of participants have gone on to secure permanent jobs.

Bowse the ‘Work with us’ section of our website (www.outward.org.uk) to find out more.

The deadline for applications is midnight on the 10th of April 2014. Please fill it in by referring to the job description and person specification in the pack and send it to us at recruitmentoutward2@newlon.org.uk.
